I want to through audio on MSN messenger, but I don’t have one of those USB microphones. I’ve managed to hook my Video camera up in a way so that I can record sound through the MIC port in the back of my soundcard with it. Can I use that for messenger?

Yes you can use the microphone port at the back of your computer but using a microphone and your speakers will give you an echo through your speakers. The sound from your speakers will travel back down the microphone. It is better to use a headset to prevent this.
